Venue – Turin 2023

NUSOD 2023 will be organized in the lecture hall on the ground floor of Campus Lingotto of Politecnico di Torino.

Torino is an ancient city with a rich history dating back to the Roman times. Its architecture includes historic palaces, museums, and churches. Turin is known for its delicious cuisine, including traditional dishes like agnolotti, bagna cauda, and gianduja chocolate. It’s also located in the Piedmont region, which is renowned for its wine, particularly Barolo and Barbaresco. Turin features several cultural attractions, including the Egyptian Museum, which is the second-largest museum of its kind in the world, or the National Cinema Museum located in the Mole Antonelliana, symbol of the city. The city is also home to the Royal Palace of Turin, which houses several art galleries and museums. The city is also home to two popular football teams: Juventus FC and Torino FC.

The conference campus is housed in the former Fiat factory, which was designed by the famous architect Renzo Piano. The building has been converted into a modern university campus, with state-of-the-art facilities and classrooms. Campus Lingotto is well-connected to the city center via public transportation, including buses and the metro. There are several dining options near the Campus Lingotto Politecnico di Torino, including Eataly, a famous Italian food market located just a few minutes’ walk from the campus, and the Centro Commerciale Lingotto, which offers a wide range of dining options.
