NUSOD attendees are asked to make their own accommodation arrangements and bookings independently. Cork offers a large selection of accommodation options within walking distance of the conference venue. UCC’s main campus is served by local bus routes 208, 220 and 205.
Hotel accommodation in Cork is in high demand during the summer tourist season. After an attendee receives notification of acceptance of their paper at NUSOD, it is strongly advised that they book their accommodation as soon as possible.
Campus accommodation at UCC
As a low-cost accommodation option, we have reserved 40 rooms in UCC’s Crow’s Nest student accommodation. These rooms will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
These rooms are available from July 19th – 24th (inclusive), including breakfast at a conference rate of:
- Single ensuite room: €140 per night
- Double ensuite room: €160 per night

We have secured a small number of rooms at a discounted rate in two local hotels. Availability is low, and rooms will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis to confirmed (registered) conference attendees.
