We are pleased to announce the upcoming 26th conference on Numerical Simulation of Optoelectronic Devices (NUSOD 2026), which will be held on 20-24 July 2026 at the University College Cork (UCC) in Cork (Ireland). A welcome reception will take place prior to the conference on 19 July 2026.
This conference aims to bring together engineers, physicists, and practitioners from academia and industry to present and discuss the latest advances in the modeling of optoelectronic devices, materials, and applications.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: materials theory and simulation, method and software development, photonic device modelling, semiconductor lasers and LEDs, optical modulators and amplifiers, photodetectors and solar cells, integrated photonic devices, photonic integrated circuits, and quantum photonics.
We invite submissions of original research papers and review articles in all areas related to the modeling of optoelectronic devices. Accepted papers will be presented at the conference and published in the conference proceedings. Presented papers will be submitted to IEEE for indexing in IEEE Xplore and major databases.
The deadline for the submission of the 2-page abstract using the IEEE template is 13 March 2026.
Prizes and Support
Papers presenting the work of Ph.D. and undergraduate students and presented by them are eligible for the BEST STUDENT PRESENTATION AWARD. Outstanding posters will be selected for the BEST POSTER AWARD.
